EPROC - Sustainable Electronic Procurement

EPROC, a collaborative European research project funded by the Interreg. III B initiative with partners from Germany, Holland, Ireland and Wales was commissioned to encourage and support the adoption of new digital procurement processes and tools by small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), with sustainability being a key factor.

Local authorities throughout Europe are are keen to use eProcurement systems as it significantly reduces costs and improves efficiency. It was clear that unless SMEs were prepared for this change then many would risk losing existing business and also find themselves disadvantaged when applying for new public sector business.

The EPROC project has developed a number of guides and on-line tutorials to help your business gain a greater knowledge and understanding of electronic procurement.
